  What are the Motor Pool hours of operation?
  Answer
  Carson City - Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm.
Reno - Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm.
Las Vegas - Monday thru Friday 7am to 7:30pm.

  Do I have to bring any paperwork when I pick up a vehicle?
  Answer
  Yes, the driver is required to have a Daily Vehicle form signed by the approving authority when he/she picks up the vehicle. This form can be found on the Motor Pool website at http://motorpool.state.nv.us/webpages/forms.htm

  How do I request a full-time assigned vehicle?
  Answer
  Submit form MP-5 to the Administrator at the Carson City Motor Pool.

  Can I pick up or drop off a vehicle after hours?
  Answer
  Yes, but contact the Motor Pool location where you have your reservation. There are different procedures for the separate locations.

  Do you have a Motor Pool in Elko?
  Answer
  No, the agency needs to make arrangements with a car rental agency.
 

 

Question
  Where do drivers meet the shuttle bus when they arrive at the airport?
  Answer
  Reno airport: Driver must notify Motor Pool of arrival by calling 688-1325, then proceed to the passenger drop off and pick up area. This area is located on the center island.  To get to the pickup area, the driver will need to exit the front of the terminal then cross to the center island then and wait in front of the first bus shelter south of the sky walk.

Las Vegas airport: proceed to the baggage claim level, when you are half way thru the baggage claim area you will see on your right an escalator that will take you down to the zero "0" level. Upon exiting the door proceed directly across the parking lot to the courtesy shuttle waiting area. (the escalator to the zero level is directly across from the Starbucks coffee shop)

  How do I get gas?
  Answer
  Gas cards and location booklets are assigned with each vehicle.

  Who do I call if my vehicle breaks down?
  Answer
  Call the Carson City Motor Pool at (775) 684-1880.
If you cannot reach the Motor Pool, call the Nevada Highway Patrol at (775) 688-2500. or the Capitol Police at (775) 684-5030.
